Derelict buildings hit town council’s radar again

Derelict buildings have been a topic which has crossed the table of every Town council for The Pas in recent memory. It has been a constant source of frustration as a desire to do away with those buildings and properties is stymied by limitations on the ability to do so, yet Town council is going to look into the matter again.
Councillor Andre Murphy brought the topic up again last week to council, asking for the Town to see what they can do to address problem areas.
“We’ve been talking about this issue for the last year that I’ve been around and from what I understand the last however many years,” said Murphy.
