Travel Manitoba honours OID with tourism award

On September 20th Travel Manitoba announced the winners of the 21st annual Manitoba Tourism awards, which took place at a gala dinner at the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre by Canad Inns in Winnipeg. The awards were presented by Honourable Blaine Pedersen, Minister of Growth, Enterprise and Trade, and Chair of Travel Manitoba’s Board of Directors, Stuart Murray.
The Manitoba Tourism Awards are to recognize the contributions to the provincial tourism industry. This year, there were nine awards were given out to many respectable people, including one to Opaskwayak Indian Days, who won the Indigenous Tourism Award.
