RCMP looking for Nelson House woman missing since November

The RCMP is asking the public for help in finding a missing person.
Tanys Lee Hughes has been reported as missing from the community of Nelson House. Where Hughes could be is not known, though Hughes reportedly told her family she was going to Winnipeg and had left the community after that.
Hughes was last seen on November 29, however was not actually reported to police as missing until January 3rd. It was not stated if it is believed whether or not Hughes was actually headed to Winnipeg or if she ever arrived in the city.
Hughes was described by police as being 29 years of age and standing 5’4. Hughes has short brown hair and was last known to be wearing a red parka and black pants.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Nelson House RCMP at 204-326-4452, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text “TIPMAN” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
