Famed paddler and judge finishes 37-day trip in The Pas

This Sunday two paddlers arrived in The Pas via the Saskatchewan River, taking 37 days from Fort McMurray in Alberta, though Saskatchewan and finishing up in The Pas where they arrived that day.
Mike Ranta, current world record holder for the longest solo canoe paddle travelled with his dog Spitzii and Steven O’Neill, a retired superior court judge from Sudbury, Ontario, who is now practicing law once more for First Nations people.
