RCMP make drug bust after bar walk through

A planned walkthrough of a bar in Norway House led to an arrest and a seizure of drugs and money from one individual earlier this month.
The RCMP in Norway House were planning to do a walk-through of the local bar on February 2nd at approximately 11:50 p.m. Before they even entered the bar, however, the officers noticed one individual leaving the bar who they knew was wanted by the police.
The person was placed under arrest by the officers. After doing so they conducted a search and found 21 grams of crack cocaine, a further four grams of cocaine and 28 grams of cannabis. All of the drugs were seized, along with an unspecified amount of currency.
Police have charged 22-year-old Malcolm William McLeod of Norway House with numerous drug and criminal code offences. McLeod was remanded into custody.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing, according to the RCMP.
