Slo-Pitch wraps up with final tournament

On the weekend of August 24 to the 26th The Pas Slo-Pitch League held its Year-End Tournament at various baseball diamonds in The Pas.
“It seemed to go pretty good. We had eight teams enter, they were all local teams,” said Adam Noel, President of The Pas Slo-Pitch League, who added, “we had a good time.”
“It was raining one day so it was a little cold but people put up with it. The last day Sunday turned out to be really nice and sunny, we had a good day playing ball, everyone got three games on Sunday. It was a really fun tournament we found,” furthered Noel.
The results of the Year-End Slo-Pitch Tournament are as follows:

First place: Tugeye
Second place: Fish Tubs
Third place: Sons of Pitches

First place: Balls Deep
Second place: Allouettes
Third Place: Tipsy Ten

Noel also added it was a fun season this year despite the weather.
“I enjoyed the season this year other than the fact that I had to work a lot more of it, but I enjoyed it. I think it was fun, other than the rain; we had a lot of rainouts this year which was kind of a pain, but that’s mother nature. Not much you can do about that,” Noel said.
