About Us
The Opasquia Times is celebrating its 30th year this year and has grown over that time to be the hub of information and news on The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, the Rural Municipality of Kelsey and surrounding area.
With a two person newsroom and a staff of 10, the Opasquia Times runs bi-weekly, publishing Wednesday and Friday and has a circulation of approximately 2,800 for each edition.
Located at 148 Fischer Avenue in The Pas, The Opasquia Times is run in the Gilroy family publications, who also own the Opasquia Times’ sister newspapers, The Dauphin Herald, The Swan Valley Star and Times, The Roblin Review, The Russell Banner and the Parkland Shopper.
